Is this a glitch?

Lately most of the thanks/+rep I've received hasn't been appearing under my posts. I got the notifications by PM, but they just don't show up. For example there's one post I've got where I received 2-3 thanks/+rep for it, but there's no notice of fellow members thanking it.

Is anyone else dealing with this?

When a post of yours is pos repped, nothing will appear under the post, and you will receive a PM about it.

The "thanks" system is entirely separate from reputation.

Until now I kept thinking that thanking someone was the same as giving them +rep. ;-)
