allowing non citizens to vote is like allowing a non family member to decide matters internal to your family.

There have been cities/towns that have voted to allow legal non-citizen residents to vote in local elections. This is neither against the law nor a bad thing.

This country was built upon the foundation of "no taxation without representation". Non-citizen residents in a city or town pay all the normal taxes that everyone else does, they contribute to the local area like everyone else. Many have kids in our school systems. Giving them the right to have a say in what happens in those communities seems the right thing to do
