I don't think Muslim is a race.
You're comment is kind of sad though. You don't know any Muslims that are decent people?
So, you really don't know any well enough to know for sure?
How do you know anyone is who they are unless or until they prove otherwise by their actions?
Islam is a religion. Muslims practice Islam, but still, are not bound to a single ethnicity. Hating muslims does not make you racist, only prejudiced (and with some good reasons).
That said, I have several muslim friends and co-workers, and all are decent people (I wouldn't associate with them if they were not).
ADDED: "Prejudiced" is not meant in a specifically bad way as we all base our understanding of what we don't know on that with which we have had specific experiences. Now if that prejudice prevents a person from re-evaluating the situation as new information/experiences come in, then that prejudice becomes a "bad thing."
Yes, I know lots, well enough to say they're decent people, or, like CSOB said, I wouldn't associate with them.
How do they know I'm a decent person, for sure?
You gonna feel better about yourself if you hatred is not of the racist variety?
uh--it was a question.
Oh come on now ....EVERYONE knows that.:duh3:
