Such tolerance in religion these crackpots have. They should take a trip to America and see how the Iranian Muslims and Jews get along with each other.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards: Destroying Israel is “Muslims’ First Priority”

by TheTower.org Staff | 07.08.15 6:17 pm

Ahead of Friday’s commemoration of Qods Day, an Iranian holiday calling for the destruction of Israel, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a release stating that the annihilation of the Jewish state “is Muslims’ first priority,” Iran’s Tasnim New Agency reported today.

The statement, issued on Wednesday, has called on the people of Iran and other Muslim countries to attend the mass rallies on coming Friday in support of Palestine.

It also slammed the Zionist regime of Israel as the common enemy of the Islamic nations, saying the strategy to destroy that regime is Muslims’ first priority.

The Quds Day signifies the “strategic depth of the logic of resistance” and the fight against tyranny in the world, the statement added.

Another Iranian news agency, Alalam, reported on the official statement made by the Iranian army in commemoration of Qods Day.

In the statement, released on Tuesday, the Iranian Army hailed the International Quds Day as an occasion to reaffirm solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine and express disgust at the Zionist regime of Israel as the “common enemy of the Islamic society.”

The Quds Day also marks “unity and convergence” in the Islamic community in the fight against attempts made by the world arrogance and Israel to create “evil coalitions” for creating rifts among the Islamic denominations, the statement added. …

It is seen as an opportunity for freedom-seeking people across the world, regardless of faith, to voice their support for the cause of Palestine and vent their anger against the Apartheid regime of Israel, which has occupied Palestinian territories since 1967.

The last Friday of Ramadan was designated as Qods Day in 1979 by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomenei to call for the destruction of Israel, and has subsequently been marked by “a ritualized outpouring of hatred directed at Israel.”

On Qods Day shortly after his election two years ago, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, who is often referred to as a “moderate,” called Israel an “old wound” on the Muslim world. Iranian news agencies added that Rouhani called for Israel to “be removed,” but retracted after the language cause an uproar.

Lol, how can anyone possibly take such rhetoric seriously right now? Israel has never been stronger relative to its potential enemies, most of which have just disintegrated. The arabs were beaten in '67 and '73 but at least back then they had decent state actors and a superpower backup. Now Iraq, Syria and Libya are a shambles and even Egypt is internally preoccupied. I suppose someday, after the current mess is finally sorted out, in 10 years or so, muslims may again begin to refocus on Israel.

Obama will make the deal with Iran at all cost...Kerry and Obama the Neville Chamberlains of our time

Iranian Revolutionary Guard calling for regime change in Israel. Is that a surprise? We propose regime change all the time and sometimes go to war to implement regime change. At least the Iranians are not proposing to go to war.

Lol, no way. Negotiations have dragged on past deadlines because the US wants the best possible deal. Had it wanted a deal at all costs it would've facilitated earlier agreement by making many concessions. In any event the analogy is ludicrous. Even if Iran builds a Bomb, Israel already has 100 or more, and far better delivery systems.

And as I just posted, Israel's current enemies have no realistic hope of actually doing ANYTHING.

Well, that may be an exaggeration but not much of one...Militarily Israel was never better off, in both absolute and relative terms.

I will be great when Iran has nukes to give to their proxy terror groups.

so true-----I cannot wait-----I have no idea why people are so afraid of a NUCLEAR IRAN-----considering the filth of the Iranian leadership----those idiots will be the first to try to use them and the first to get themselves burned to a cinder

Hmm,. wonder if Haniya is a member of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard. Those Guards would like to see all the Jew dead as well as the Baha'is. Why should the Iranians have to go to war when they have their proxies to do that for them? They just kill the people in Iran themselves because they don't need their proxies there to do the killing. No doubt there arfe plenty of Muslims who have fled Iran just to get away from these vicious members of the Guard. And these people are still coming out of Iran as I have found out from the young Iranian cashiers when asked how long they have been here in the States.

Did the crazy Ayatollahs tell you that?

Some time ago, on "Sixty Minutes" a former MOSSAD official characterized Iran's leadership as "very rational." If they weren't deterrable, they'd have launched attacks with what they had now like shahab missiles.

you have no experience with megalomaniacs-----they can be very rational.

At one time in the very early eighties when my husband and two other Americans were sent to bring out Iranians (there probably were many other American teams doing this), there was an occasion where they were told to stop what they were doing and were given the coordinates to a mosque quite a distance away from Tehran. They landed the plane (an Otter) on a plateau and walked the short distance to the mosque. The Mullah spotted them and started yelling in Farsi. The American in charge was trained in Farsi, Arabic and Hebrew (probably at the Language School in Monterey, CA) so knocked him out. Then they entered the mosque, took care of the three guards and rescued the 12 Jews in there. Some of the Jews were beaten so badly that they had to be carried to the plane. Some Iranians whom I have told about this said they saw the picture so evidently one of those rescued went into the movie business.
Yes, people can appear quite rational even though they are maniacal. The Iranian people that fled knew this quite well or else they would have stayed in Iran. So many of them left great wealth there but they knew what was in store with these crazies in charge. By the way, does anyone know of any clergymen who are Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, etc. and who would allow people kept in their houses of worship not only as prisoners but to be beaten. Maybe one of the Jew haters can let us in on this.

Do you think that any rational, literate person would believe anything you say. Why not tell us what happened to the people when they last protested. Were the Revolutionary Guards to gentle with them.

I'll always remember that young Muslim woman who happened to get shot in the street.

Do you really think that any rational, literate person would believe anything you say, Penelope? I will always remember that young Iranian woman who was shot at that last protest when the Revolutionary Guards went out in force. Do you remember Neda Agha-Soltan, Penelope? She became the symbol of the Iranian Rebellion. A street is named after her in Los Angeles where many ex Iranians live.

A maniac by definition isn't rational. The ex-MOSSAD official was in a good position to know the truth. And look at history. Mao seemed crazy--you should see a quote-- and there were suggestions the US should bomb its nuclear facilities before they produced a weapon. But China exploded its first nuke in '65 and has coexisted peacefully for 50 years.
