JENIN, (PIC)-- Israeli occupation forces (IOF) raided the Zabuba village to the west of Jenin on Saturday night triggering violent clashes with young men, locals told the PIC.

They said that dozens of IOF soldiers stormed the village at a late night hour and fired stun grenades and teargas canisters in addition to live bullets in the incursion.

Young men threw stones at the invading troops who responded by firing bullets, the sources said, adding that many civilians were treated for breathing problems due to the IOF extensive use of tear gas bombs.

They noted that a number of those canisters hit citizens inside their homes. They said that the soldiers burst into houses at the outskirts of the village and assaulted the inhabitants.
