    Interesting, just gave that article to my pricipal yesterday. We are trying to put together webwriting for whole school. My tendency is to let the kids write however they like, but encourage the 4 basic types of academic writing, find posts of theirs that demonstrate proficiency, then have them rewrite in formal English.

    I find this topic of recreating a new language really fascinating. Do you know of any other websites that I could check out re "language of the 'net"?

    I've actually thought of running classes for adults who are ignorant of this speach so that they could understand what is being said by their little people when "plos" is used.
