I feel that they should have just given him a life sentence. If they execute him, there will be so much trouble from the Muslim Brotherhood and other Muslims.

The European Union has denounced the death sentence handed down against Egypt's ousted president Mohamed Morsi and at least 100 others, noting the penalty stemmed from a flawed trial.

"The court decision to seek the death penalty... was taken at the end of a mass trial that was not in line with Egypt's obligations under international law," said the EU's top diplomat Federica Mogherini on Sunday (local time) in a statement.

She added that Egypt has to guarantee defendants' rights to a fair trial and to an independent investigation. Her statement said the EU believes the sentence will be revised upon appeal.

"The EU opposes capital punishment under all circumstances," Mogherini said. "The death penalty is cruel and inhumane."

I was being a bit of a wise guy, referring to those summarily shot.

Sorry.

Good. He's Islamic scum.

This democratic movement in the Arab world seems to have been successful only in Tunisia. I doubt anyone will declare themselves a candidate in any democratic election in the future in Egypt anyway. The death sentence is what awaits a democratically elected leader after the automatic military coup supported by the West and Israel.

Islam cannot coexist with democracy and freedom of speech.

In fact Islam cannot coexist period. It either dominates and subjugated, or will kill and terrorize to get there.

And?? ......

Yes, Haniyah, you have demonstrated that you are a Muslim Brotherhood supporter. The Christians in Egypt are certainly glad that Morsi is gone.

Those who favor liberty and religious tolerance will gladly pull on the rope of human liberty that hangs Morsi.
Morsi was elected president of Egypt in a fair and free democratic election.

Yet there are idiots here who support a fascist military dictatorship which staged a violent coup and ousted the elected president from power. ...... :cuckoo:

Muslim brotherhood stated they wouldn't even run a candidate should Mubarek be ousted. Yet they did and once Morsi was in power he proceeded to turn Egypt into an Islamic shariah shithole. This wasn't what the people had fought for and the army stepped in to save Egypt from the Islamic cancer that was about to destroy Egypt as it does everywhere else. Egyptians are grateful. Islamists are scum and they cannot be trusted.

Morsi ran as a candidate and won in a fair and free election.

American's are always spouting off to other people about spreading Democracy around the world.

But when the citizens in other countries freely elect people the Americans don't like or agree with.

Then the US will back the overthrow of the democratically elected official and help install another brutal dictator.

Morsi is just another victim of America's hypocritical foreign policy. .....

The Americans supported Mubareks overthrow. Morsi shouldn't have ran. He did and then he tried to turn Egypt into an Islamic shithole. Egyptian army stepped in and saved the people from Islamic scum.

Game over.

The german juden were trying to turn their country into a zionist shithole.

Hitler stepped in to try and save Germany and all of Europe.

But unfortunately he failed and now the world suffers. ......

Sadly the world does not have a blacklist for anti-semites. Maybe it will catch on in the rest of europe. I believe german still has a ban on neo-nazi speech. You might want to step carefully in your praise of hitler.
