First, why would a government or organization with the power to pull off 9/11 have to pull off 9/11? Surely a group with that much power to coerce or control that many people could have found a much easier plan to achieve their goals. For instance, if they were pushing for a war with Iraq, wouldn't it have been much easier for the CIA or the Mossad to plant weapons grade uranium somewhere in Baghdad instead of the Rube Goldberg 9/11 plan?
Second, why would the plotters have come up with a plan that had the possibility of failure in so many places? How would they have explained any pre-planted explosives if one or both of the towers didn't collapse, or only partially collapsed due to detonator failures? How would they have explained WTC 7 collapsing if pieces of Tower 1 didn't hit it and start fires? How would they have explained the Pentagon blowing up if the "remote controlled Boeing" missed? Or piled into the lawn in front of the building? Or the neighborhood on the other side of the highway?

First, why would a government or organization with the power to pull off 9/11 have to pull off 9/11? Surely a group with that much power to coerce or control that many people could have found a much easier plan to achieve their goals. For instance, if they were pushing for a war with Iraq, wouldn't it have been much easier for the CIA or the Mossad to plant weapons grade uranium somewhere in Baghdad instead of the Rube Goldberg 9/11 plan?
