It looks like some of the unfortunate Syrian civilians are getting fed while the other unfortunate ones are out of luck. All these people should be helped when it comes to supplying them with food. Even though the Gazans are busy shooting rockets into Israel, the trucks carrying food are still let through. Assad should follow Israel's example. I can see where safety is a concern of those who want to distribute the food, but maybe in some areas where it is really dangerous, they can drop the food in like the Berlin airlift after getting Assad to let up on the bombardment of the areas for a while.

The findings underscore the obstacles facing the WFP, which is the major distributor of food aid in Syria, in getting help to rebel-held areas. Many of those zones are under frequent bombardment by Syrian forces, making access dangerous for aid workers and their drivers.
