In God We Trust

This thread title is the official motto of the United States of America.
Rep.'s Tlaib and Omar were sworn into Congress using the Quran.
Does this mean that they were not duly sworn in as Congressional members?

Our official motto DOES NOT state that 'In Allah We Trust'.

Can someone please clear up this confusion?

In 1956, Congress passed an act making 'In God We Trust' our official motto.
Shouldn't have Congress struck this act down before swearing in members on the Quran?

Congress should have said which god if they wanted it to mean only one of them

But they didn't. So it's a pass off to our heritage.

They didn’t it can be any god anyone wants to be

Law is built upon precedent, so it cannot be that.

Americans worship Baal, Gaia and Allah here, while they ignore Yahweh, who gave us our Constitution, and made us a vehicle to spread His Gospel across The World.

Now many have begun to turn their backs on Him to our eternal shame.

The Founding Fathers worshipped 1 God, you leftist shill POC. IGDGAF what some drug-addled people's offspring that joined the corps worship. That's not what built America, boy. I find it hard to believe you were involved with the Marines.

What kind of song is the Marine Corps theme song, hmm?

It's called a hymn.

Your leftist ass defies logic.

Lyrics:

Lyrics
From the Halls of Montezuma
To the shores of Tripoli
We fight our country's battles
On the lands, and on the sea
First to fight for right and freedom
And to keep our honor clean
We are proud to claim the title
Of United States Marine
Our flag's unfurled to every breeze
From dawn to setting sun
We have fought in every clime and place
Where we could take a gun
In the snow of far-off northern lands
And in sunny tropic scenes
You will find us always on the job
The United States Marines
Here's health to you and to our Corps
Which we are proud to serve
In many a strife we've fought for life
And never lost our nerve
If the Army and the Navy
Ever look on Heaven's scenes,
They will find the streets are guarded
By United States Marines
From the Halls of Montezuma
To the shores of Tripoli
We fight our country's battles
On the lands, and on the sea
First to fight for right and freedom
And to keep our honor clean
We are proud to claim the title
Of United States Marine

House Democrats need to come full circle honest and introduce legislation overturning our official motto since they obviously do not abide by it.
Why don't they?

Part of what makes the United States great is that you have freedom of religion. One of the best freedoms the founders included. Using your religion to influence government is antithetical to the vision of the founders of the United States.
