"I will be leaving for Florida today to meet with some of the bravest people on earth - but people whose lives have been totally shattered. Am also working with Congress on many fronts." - President Trump

Donald J. Trump on Twitter

The last sentence, what? Not working on anything related to gun violence

I read that as working on this tragedy from many fronts/angles. Faux outrage from you.

"Schumer’s office say they have not heard from the WH on any matters related to the Florida shooting"

There's probably a reason for that. If Schumer can't cooperate on immigration reform, what makes you think Trump will have any trust in Schumer to get anything done on gun legislation?

Schumer’s office? They have an agenda. The WH would be contacting the head of the senate, not the minority party. Notice he stated his office, nothing of whether he had contacted anyone in the senate. I would also assume, the WH is drawing together specialists in this field to help come up with solutions, first.

What are the chances he ends up on the golf course after meeting with the brave people?

His home is a golf course.
Do you go out in your backyard when you are home from work?

His home is in DC, his backyard is the Rose Garden.

I'm pretty sure his legal residence is still Manhattan, where he's registered to vote.
He has many other homes.
He has sleeping quarters in DC.

You are a man of few words! :21:

Yeah, I hate it when work gets in the way and I forget what I was doing.

Either way, when I walk out in my backyard it does not cost the nation 2 million dollars. But a trip to Florida cost that much at a minimum.

Hey, he's offered to take his own plane. It's nicer than AF1.

Secret service won't let him.
