They cannot see why Palestinians don't accept the oppression, occupation, murders and annexation of Israel with broad smiles.

Imagine if Toronto were at siege for 7 years, "put on a diet" and the target of Israeli assassinations, shootings of random innocents from the watchtowers, and periodic F16 and tank bombardments.

Would Torontorians want to appease their oppressors?

Toronto isn't governed by a known terrorist organization who have been attacking its neighbours for decades. Toronto didn't unleash two intifadas, the second one ending only 9 years ago where hundreds of Palestinians came into Israel and blew themselves up in cafes, crowded markets, buses, pizzarias. Toronto doesn't launch rockets and mortars at its neighbours. Toronto's government doesn't desire to destroy its neighbour , who is a sovereign state.
You can provide me with a bunch of reasons as to why Hamas attacks Israel, but the fact of the matter is Beezle that they are no position to attack a country who have the strongest army in the ME because all it does is invite death and destruction to Gaza. It's time for the Palestinians to ask for a government who aren't warmongers and who are willing to cease ALL hostilities . Hamas will never do this if course because that would be like surrendering to them and they have the extremist mentality of 'Jihad until victory'.

As long as Hamas is in power, there will never be peace, and no peace is wayyyy worse for the Palestinians then it is for Israel who can still manage to go on with there lives and do what they want . Those in the south are definitely suffering by having to constantly run into shelters but I'm confident it won't continue much longer.

The part John Greyson forgets is that there is no organisation in Toronto firing rockets, sending suidice bombers and digging infiltration tunnels into the US.
