Imagine a scientist has a lot of tattoos. Do you take their research less seriously?

I trust them if the tats look like this:

But i have a hard time believing a legit foundation would hire one sleeved out. It isnt professional looking. Unless you are a tattoo artist, stripper or burger flipper.

Or have a Nobel Prize in Physics.
 
I have known many scientists. The best scientists are often nerds or geeks in their earlier years. There are a certain personality traits that most scientists or would be scientists have.Getting a large showy tattoo is not one of them. From what I have experienced they would rather be judged by their work rather than their appearance. Taking someone seriously often depends on appearance. Ultimately a scientists work should speak for itself.
