I was just looking at feather trees and started looking at vintage stuff....Came across this "RARE Italian " manger scene. She wants $990 for it.
I've got one in the attic of the homestead. It came from the 5 & 10 or it didn't end up in our house.
$990. LOL
She's guessing it's Italian because the stable says "made in Italy." Sure.

We had one of these in the 70s and it came from the old JM Fields.

I was playing with it in the 60's when we had Christmas at the homestead. They were thrifty folks and even if someone bought it for them, they shopped at Woolworths, too. I imagine it was bought quite some time before, because the folks living there when I was a girl weren't the type to invest in Christmas decos. What was in the attic was plenty and it was old.

I never understood the spring in the ox's tail--apparently the tail itself had fallen off. All that was left was the spring. If there are springs under the horns, I've never noticed them.
