He is almost painfully unfunny but he does seem like a nice guy.

Right. My husband's family loves his stand-up...for some reason. They would all be in stitches and I would just sit there wondering when it was all going to end. It's cute and all, but funny? Not hardly.

In my opinion at the end of the day both ladies are winners since they are the final two. Yeah only one can get the crown and everything else that goes with it, but being right behind the winner is the best place to be, to me, if you can't be the winner.

So second place is not as good as first place but it's better than third? Thanks for explaining that to us.

No it could not have happened to anyone. You have to be illiterate to make a blunder like this.

My question is, why did he let the mistake stick around for over 2 1/2 min? He should have said "oops, misread the card" and fixed it THEN, rather than let the poor woman be crowned and left thinking she'd won.

But then again, he even said in his apology that it was his fault because he didn't show up for rehearsal.
