Let us cut to the chase............ what is wrong with releasing information about suspects that might help in their capture?

I have always heard the police depend on the citizens for information....but some seem to forget that citizens are also dependent on the police for information....especially in regards to public safety.

Obviously, what all this boils down to is that in certain cities it is more important to be politcally correct than to do everything possible to catch some criminals....but wait isnt that giving the criminls a pass? Yep.

Nobody but the crooks know. The other 2 may have been armed as well or they might have been the ones doing the actual collecting. The odds were never in the AG's favor and a gun wouldn't have changed that.

I think that we will all respect that candidate IF he continues to campaign for stricter gun control laws (and campaigns without security).

He will be proving that he sincerely believes in his cause despite any negative personal experiences.

This news reminds me of a somewhat similar situation. (I will be purposely vague in order not to hurt anyone's feelings.)

In the 1960s, Mr. X campaigned for the rights of group Y.

Years later (when this group had achieved much, thanks to people like Mr. X), he happened to be in an elevator when a young man of group Y roughed him up and robbed him.

When reporters asked him whether he regretted all his efforts in behalf that group, he replied ABSOLUTELY NOT!
