If You Hate Zimmerman, You'll Really Hate This Guy

If You Hate Zimmerman…
No one ‘hates’ Zimmerman, the notion is idiotic, but it is appropriate to be critical of the ignorance and hate that manifest among many on the right who perceive Zimmerman as some sort of ‘hero,’ sought to vilify Martin, and refuse to acknowledge the fact that racism played a role in the tragedy.

It’s the ignorance and racism among many on the right that’s deserving of hate, not Zimmerman.

 Yep, the rightwingers just don't get it.

The fact is, they cheer on and support Trayvon's murder because of what other black teenagers may have done, not because of what Trayvon himself did. They don't know what he did only taking Z's word for it and disliking Trayvon on sight, as did Z, because he looked like those gang member types. They are eager to take Z's word for it because of their "ignorance and hate that manifest among many on the right who perceive Zimmerman as some sort of ‘hero,’ sought to vilify Martin, and refuse to acknowledge the fact that racism played a role in the tragedy"

Odd, here I was damn sure it was racism and ignorance that caused all this hatred of Zimmerman. If racism played a role in the tragedy, it was Martin with his hatred of "creepy-ass crackers". Where racism definitely played a role was the idiotic trial which should never have been and wound up biting race pimps in the ass.

And of course the issue has nothing to do with the merits of the criminal case, as no one contests the outcome of the trial.

The racism manifests among conservatives who refuse to acknowledge the fact that the outset of the incident was predicated on the perception of Martin as a ‘thug,’ and the hateful notion that most young African-American males are ‘predisposed’ to violent crime.

Racism had NOTHING to do with Martin getting killed. Now what did play a part was Homophobia. On Martin's part.

Zimmerman has black family members and mentored black children after school, he went to bat for a homeless black man against the Police.

If there was ANY racism the Justice Department would have charged him. Actually there was racism, against a supposed white man for defending himself against a person that happened to be black.

You don't get to make this big a lie and get away with it.

We're gonna be seeing a lot more of these incidents as white people get tired of being robbed and assaulted.

The Store Owner Who Killed 5 Gang Members

Yup, all of them looked like Obama's boys.

Agreed, profiling worked in this case.

You just proved the point of those who say it was about race. It WAS about race. Getting back at blacks who commit crimes against whites. Seeing Trayvon as a gangbanger because he was a black teenager. Him being profiled by Z and killed by Z because he believed Trayvon was a gangbanger. It was about the perception of whites that black teens wearing hoodies are criminals and "white people get[ting] tired of being robbed and assaulted." YOU JUST PROVED THE POINT WE'VE BEEN MAKING: IT WAS ALL ABOUT RACE.

No one hates Zimmerman? Many of the posts in the many Zimmerman threads dispute that.

It wasn't about race until lowlives like SJ and yourself made it so. I include race pimps like Sharpton, Jackson and other scum among you.

Look who has to defend the charge of racism now. You liberal assholes cry racism every time there's a black crime victim. How do you like the shoe being on the other foot?

Merchant's Rising Death Toll Raises Questions : Shooting: With the killing of two more gunmen at The Watch Co., police, neighbors and legal experts are scrutinizing store owner's self-defense claims.

February 22, 1992 | SHERYL STOLBERG and ASHLEY DUNN, TIMES STAFF WRITERS

When the first sharp cracks of gunfire erupted across the street from the West Los Angeles balloon store where he works, Monet Delapaz figured it was just a car backfiring on Santa Monica Boulevard. But when the blasts continued in a furious burst--from five to 10 to somewhere around 15--he knew what had happened. "Another one bites the dust," he thought to himself. "The watch store again." Delapaz was correct. What he heard Thursday afternoon was yet another gunfight at The Watch Co.

I have no problem with what the shop keeper did, any more than justifiable retaliation against Klan members in the later 1950s and 1960s. Sometime someone just has to take out the trash.
