If voter ID is racist.............

Do you require a specific ID to do any of these things, or do you just have to present any government ID? Once again, you promote the lie that Democrats are opposed to identification at the polls. That's a lie. Democrats oppose limiting what kinds of government ID can be used for voting.

Democrats aren't objecting to identification. They're objecting to the specific and special forms of voter ID that Republicans are pushing because if you have a specific "voter ID", then you can control who gets one. When you can use any form of government issued ID, then you can't exclude certain groups.
Your post is 100% bullshit.

Dimwingers have objected to any form of voter ID requirement.

Question on the table is what reason is there to making voting harder? More difficulty?. Less accessible? There was no fraud from impersonation. It’s a solution that has no problem. It’s just making hurdles harder.
So you find it difficult to hand someone an ID?

We all know this is bullshit and the left want to leave the door open for them to cheat,

The left hate elections. They believe they are smarter than the rest of Americans, so elections insult them.

citygator has nothing, once again.

Talking out of his ass is all he does.
I asked for a list of Fraud instances this protects. No one answered. You answer my question with a question. But here is the court ruling. I won’t respond to you until you answer the question that I asked before you posted this silly easy to find answer on discrimination.

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — North Carolina judges struck down the state's latest photo voter identification law on Friday, agreeing with minority voters that Republicans rammed through rules tainted by racial bias as a way to remain in power.

Two of the three trial judges declared the December 2018 law is unconstitutional, even though it was designed to implement a photo voter ID mandate added to the North Carolina Constitution in a referendum just weeks earlier. They said the law intentionally discriminates against Black voters, violating their equal protections.

And two of the three judges were wrong.

I didn’t ask for leftist NPR spin, give me names of actual people who were disenfranchised.

NC fixed that law and now require voter ID.

Did you go through the trial data in detail to come to that decision or are you pissed that black voters got a break from being targeted? Your OP is as disingenuous as you are. You don’t give a shit about fairness you only care that laws that disadvantage black voters are in place.

Read the court ruling. Courts are brought by real plaintiffs. Humans. Their names are right smack in the court case names. You’re a genius it would seem.

Not a single one was denied the right to vote.

How does voter ID target blacks? Once again you are saying they are too stupid or lazy to get a free ID.

Why do 78% of blacks say you are full of shit?

  • Millions of Americans Lack ID. 11% of U.S. citizens – or more than 21 million Americans – do not have government-issued photo identification.1
  • Obtaining ID Costs Money. Even if ID is offered for free, voters must incur numerous costs (such as paying for birth certificates) to apply for a government-issued ID.
    • Underlying documents required to obtain ID cost money, a significant expense for lower-income Americans. The combined cost of document fees, travel expenses and waiting time are estimated to range from $75 to $175.2
    • The travel required is often a major burden on people with disabilities, the elderly, or those in rural areas without access to a car or public transportation. In Texas, some people in rural areas must travel approximately 170 miles to reach the nearest ID office.3
  • Voter ID Laws Reduce Voter Turnout. A 2014 GAO study found that strict photo ID laws reduce turnout by 2-3 percentage points,4 which can translate into tens of thousands of votes lost in a single state.5

Voter ID Laws Are Discriminatory

  • Minority voters disproportionately lack ID. Nationally, up to 25% of African-American citizens of voting age lack government-issued photo ID, compared to only 8% of whites.6
  • States exclude forms of ID in a discriminatory manner. Texas allows concealed weapons permits for voting, but does not accept student ID cards. Until its voter ID law was struck down, North Carolina prohibited public assistance IDs and state employee ID cards, which are disproportionately held by Black voters. And until recently, Wisconsin permitted active duty military ID cards, but prohibited Veterans Affairs ID cards for voting.
  • Voter ID laws are enforced in a discriminatory manner. A Caltech/MIT study found that minority voters are more frequently questioned about ID than are white voters.7
  • Voter ID laws reduce turnout among minority voters. Several studies, including a 2014 GAO study, have found that photo ID laws have a particularly depressive effect on turnout among racial minorities and other vulnerable groups, worsening the participation gap between voters of color and whites.8

Voter ID Requirements are a Solution in Search of a Problem

  • In-person fraud is vanishingly rare. A recent study found that, since 2000, there were only 31 credible allegations of voter impersonation – the only type of fraud that photo IDs could prevent – during a period of time in which over 1 billion ballots were cast.9
  • Identified instances of “fraud” are honest mistakes. So-called cases of in-person impersonation voter “fraud” are almost always the product of an elections worker or a voter making an honest mistake, and that even these mistakes are extremely infrequent.10
  • Voter ID laws are a waste of taxpayer dollars. States incur sizeable costs when implementing voter ID laws, including the cost of educating the public, training poll workers, and providing IDs to voters.
    • Texas spent nearly $2 million on voter education and outreach efforts following passage of its Voter ID law.11
    • Indiana spent over $10 million to produce free ID cards between 2007 and 2010.12
The ACLU has led the charge against Voter ID in several states, challenging voter ID laws in in states such as Pennsylvania, Arkansas, Wisconsin, and North Carolina. For more information, please contact Robert Hoffman at [email protected] or visit Fighting Voter ID Requirements to learn more.

The ACLU?
Got a non-shit source?

Did you agree with the Travyon Martin trial? Maybe you don't care about fairness and only care about protecting black people, criminal or not, at all costs? See how that works.

Requiring a picture ID to vote is NOT VOTER DISENFRANCHISEMENT. Period. No amount of spin will change that.

Oh lookie another liberal who thinks blacks are to stupid to get an ID
Look another MAGA acolyte whio is too stupid to proof their own posts before calling someone else stupid.

Geez, you people are stupid as a pile of bat shit.
