After just watching Dershowitz. How much you think he gets for 5 minutes on Tucker? Or those who go on CNN? My guess...$500.

I think when a guest on these shows is referred to as a “contributor” they’re salaried and scheduled to appear whenever a particular reoccurring topic in their wheelhouse of expertise is front and center in the news cycle. Guests not a part of their regular contributors though I imagine get some nominal payment for showing up. May be the one and only time they’re ever gonna be TV and their appearance alone a payday of sorts for them.

Many of CNN's guests actually have to pay CNN. Not the other way around.

And if they say something politically incorrect they get cut off.
