I was enjoying some Necco wafers when I accidently put one of the dark ones in my mouth. Black licorice flavored! Seriously, I almost puked.

Yup. Anise (the flavoring) sounds too much like anus.

You know ... I use anise extract in my baking and I like it, but the flavor is concentrated in those little Necco wafers. Ewwwwww.

If you hate licorice do not ever drink this:

Sambuca, Ouzo, Ricard, Pernod....... all have that same flavor....... love it. Ouzo and orange juice is very refreshing but kicks you in the head after a few. Ricard almost qualifies as a date rape drug, you don't have any idea how hard it slaps the crap out of you when drinking it, a favorite of the French along with Pernod.

No reason to be sorry casper. I just started the thread for other folks to post what they hate the taste of.

Young and the Restless? No. I gave up watching soap operas about 20 years ago.
Idol? Occassionally I'm forced into watching it by other members of my family.

FYI: I've been following True Blood for several months. The Count probably knows what "She's Mine" means.

It means a vampire has made a claim on a human and all other blood-suckers by vampire law must leave that human alone or face serious punishment. The punishment is usually removal of their fangs and not being able to feed for several months till they grow back.Then they have to subsist on that fake Japanese shit [True Blood] or nothing at all.....which tends to screw up vampires big-time.

Yeah....I'm a dork....but who cares.
