Just wondering, right now only 2% of American workers make minimum wage
Among those paid by the hour, 434,000 workers earned exactly the prevailing federalminimum wage of $7.25 per hour. About 1.3 million had wages below the federalminimum. Together, these 1.7 million workers with wages at or below the federalminimum made up 2.1 percent of all hourly paid workers.
