I found this article on Ann Coulter interesting

We can rate the article. I rated it as hard core left leaning. Obviously the author who is not Coulter is hard core left leaning. Ann is a straight shooter. She is offended that Trump could not finish the wall. But she does not mention how far he managed to get the wall with Democrats screaming murder and digging in their heels to stop him.

It would be interesting to see what Ann Coulter says about that left wing article.
A straight shooter? Sometimes, sometimes not. It probably would be interesting to hear what she thought of it.

I would not doubt that, a bit. A new book, didn't come up, though.
Yeah, that is the usual M.O. Say something inflammatory that will get quoted all over the place, and right on that heel, put out another of the usual tripe, something with a heading along the lines of "Liberals are Always Liars..." etc and call it a day.

It reminds me of Ol' Rush Limbaugh and his usual gimmick of claiming that Lib book stores all over the world were suppressing his new book and he would go on a rant and have his listeners calling in about how they were denied their God-given right to buy his book blah blah blah

Every single time when he published a new book.

If she didn't want her party to be consumed by a hate filled charlatan, why did she spend her career convincing her party to be consumed by hate filled charlatans?

She's no different than anyother of the Poutrage Entertainment Industry. They all learned back in the Limbaugh days, that saying contraversial things made money. As the industry grew, the more outrageous and over the top, the more money to be made.

It's a true cottegae industry for the morons among us. Which P T Barnum, and William Randolph Hearst, who were the inventors of the industry, proved in the early 20th century.

Ann Coulter is pretty fickle in her opinions of people. At one time she applauded Ronald Reagan and George HW Bush and George W. Bush but sooner or later wrote columns condemning all of them.
Not surprising. Overall, I liked Reagan and George HW Bush, and glad I voted for them, even after Iran/Contra and also the taxes, Republican crucifie daddy Bush for and the excellent job on defeating Saddam, and kicking their asses back to Bahdad. Can anybody blame anybody for dissatisfaction with W?

Indeed so W6...

It just hints at how far the political pendulum has swung since Reagan's tenure

Back then RR was seen as the epitome of conservatism with his MAGA approach

These days conservatives like Coulter see Trump's MAGA redux as too far to the right to relate to

What people assume about Iran Contra is what the media wanted you to assume. They hated Reagan and also GW Bush so much that they portrayed both as public enemies.
That you started a topic relying on a left wing site says you either made a huge mistake or you are now left wing.

Even the beast Rob

so did their position in the political spectrum move, or did the world around them?

MAGA is a vision of a strong, secure, prosperous country that nobody dares mess with and that provides maximum liberty, choices, options and opportunity for its citizens. Of course the Marxist socialist minded sneer at that, but that is what keeps the conservative/classical liberals/libertarians (little L)/Patriots pushing for people who share it.
That is accurate. Well formed and well fact driven. Totally correct.

I agree and wish a hard core left wing article is not what got this started.

Ann Coulter, used to be pure Maga, now simply Conservative. It is interesting how firebrand Maga-People, can see the light, retaining their conservatism, but no longer on the Trump Train. I have read her, off and on for years, even in her Pro-Trump devotion period, as she is often insightful. I found this an appealing article, and it gives hope, actual conservative Republicans can come around to accepting facts and logic, again.

Coulter is a nut case.

As the stuff i posted about the Beast claims, the Beast has moved from left to hard left in the past 6 years or less.

You have to take all media outlets with a grain (or 2 in some cases) of salt. I like Reagan, as he didn't get me killed, though possibly one trip I turned down might have, and some friends were disavowed for some time. We were all pretty sure, a LTC wasn't running a secret war out of the white house with zero knowledge for the Pres. George HW was a common sense kind of guy that kept the inflation trending lower than the average in Reagan days, and won a quick war, by letting the Professionals see to it, while allowing no mission creep. It was text book stuff, carried out in a text book manner and the only President I've seen before or after to do it right. Tax did not bother me enough in light of it, to change my opinion.

Didn't Coulter date Jimmie Walker?

The article seemed pretty straight reporting and true, but choice to publish was an example of Beast left leaning. I get a big cross section of left and right everyday. This one, I came across, not following the beast, but on an aggregator site called MemoRandom. Interesting articles are just wherever you find them.

America became the victim of our Media so long ago that it will take me probably a few hours to accurately point out when it took place.
I recall when in the Army, I and the troops had some precise missions and if we failed, we got the blame. Our commanders in the HW Bush war wanted to finish off Saddam. But he refused. I want you to hearken back to FDR and Normandy. What if FDR refused to let the commanders finish going all the way into Germany and finishing off Hitler. HW Bush did that to our commanders in Iraq. His son saw it and did not make that same mistake.

It did not interview Ann Coulter. It used her.
