After that shoe throwing incident, my faith in the Secret Service is somewhat shaken.


I'm positive they are non-partisan, but are they as competent as they need to be to react in milli-seconds.

I certainly hope Obama is wearing a bullet proof vest under his clothing whenever he goes out. If Obama succeeds in his plans, the level of propserity that will be going on in this country will rival that of the late 1990s and mid-late 1920s. Believe me when I say - we want that. We want that very much. If some fucker kills Obama, our economy might not recover for a long, long time. His children may never.

No one is going to overlook something as simple as Obama wearing a flak jacket. If you're going to assassinate the President, ensuring you use an armor-piercing round isn't all that hard.

I'm not as optimistic as you in regard to Obama's economic plans, but neither do I see that "the" reason to not assassinate him. No one deserves to be murdered. They especially don't deserve to be murdered for something as stupid as politics.

Next time, it won't be a shoe.

Someone taking a shot at Obama, or worse, killing him would be a tragedy. Obama is(will be) the POTUS for all of us and no nation deserves to have their elected leaders lost.

I think Obama is a dumbass socialist but that is really beside the point. Unless he moves to the center he will be bad for the economy and may be pretty bad at foreign affairs too given ne knows pretty much nothing. All that said, Biden is just as bad or worse and losing a fairly elected leader would be horrible for the country I love.

On a hopeful note, most of the assasins in our history were leftist or wackjobs so I hope that works in Obama's favor.
