I don't remember President Nixon blaming LBJ for Nam

If Nixon did blame LBJ for the Nam morass- he had good reason to.

He may have bashed LBJ in private - but not like Obama is doing to Bush on the economy on national TV.

I recall the Nixon 1968 acceptence speech.

I was blown away - about to turn 15.

So you recall a speech where Nixon blames Johnson for the mess in Vietnam but you don't recall Nixon blaming Johnson for the mess in Vietnam?

The only concession speech that I am fond of is John Kerry's when Bush trounced his ass. I thought he and Cutey Boy John Edwards were going to break down and cry. I TIVO'd it, and still watch it when I need comic relief.

Jackie Kennedy though LBJ ordered the hit on her husband (just when they were reconciling after JFKs womanizing.)

Am sure she was creeped-out when LBJ called her up a few days after the assasination and called her "dear".
