At the end of the 19th century, the Prussians captured the Central European peoples, this is modern "Germany". Learn history before you argue.

There was no sub-Roman germany. What are you talking about? About the "great Roman Empire"? It was a Roman(Romania) power, the Goths captured it after the plague. During the reign of the knights there were no Germans and it was not called that.
