That's why Iran had increased its efforts to build that nuclear bomb. It's a national priority.

They are in a race between finding something to distract their young population and said population finally getting sick enough of the current government to do something about it.
Suppression of votes and speech wasnt enough to truly ignite the masses in Iran. having to spend a 2 days wages on 1 meal? That might get them riled up enough to do something.

Mad enough to do something but do what? They are mad enough to double or triple efforts to develop the bomb because that's the path they see out of sanctions. Sanctions have made them more determined than ever.
Our last chance to ignite what masses that there are, happened in 2009. When obama said no help as firmly as he did, the masses had no choice but to work with the government on bomb development because it is the only path available to them. There will be no uprising against the Ayatollahs. That window has closed and been nailed shut. The Iranian people are all motivated by a single goal, build as many nuclear bombs as they can before Israel loses patience.
Innocent Iranian citizens must starve and suffer because the Israeli government doesn't like the Iranian leadership.
No wonder most of the world detests the U.S. for kowtowing to it's master Israel.

I think the government and those who support the government agree on building the bomb. I dont think the people on the street see it as such a priority. You have to remember how controlled the society is.
If your view is what is actually happening, then the hyperinflation should have no impact, as the people will go along with hardship if they trully want to be an atomic power.
I hope, however, that the Mullahs and the Army have misread the people's desire, and the people do something about it.
Although there were ten's of thousands of protesters in 2009 against the government of Iran.
There were 10X as many Pro government citizens who took to the streets in support of the Iranian leadership.
But the U.S./Western media chose to only show the anti-government malcontents; and not the millions of Iranians who support the government.

Incompetent monetary and fiscal policies of the Iranian government are the primary reason for the inflation.
It challenges the phrase, "The people get the government they deserve." Iran and the Iranians are ancient, noble and worthy of respect. It really is too bad that due to outside meddling in their history they have come to the situation in which they find themselves. We should be friends with them, yet it seems we are enemies.
That should change.
