Huckabee: ‘Kim Davis In Federal Custody Removes All Doubts About The Criminalization Of Christianity

G W Bush brought in an era of shirking responsibility. Nothing was ever his fault. He always had someone else to blame. The tradition of the man at the top, the buck stops here, was just tossed out the oval office window by Bush.
This woman took a job and is shirking her responsibility. She could have resigned when she learned the courts would demand that she take actions she thought conflicted with her religious convictions. It is her own fault she is in the position she is in, but she is following the Bush Doctrine of blaming someone else for her irresponsible behavior.

The ironic part is the Judge that sent her off to the pokey, is a George W. appointee. I find that delicious.
Did you think only commiecrats had progressives?

'Commiecrats'? Come up with that one all by yourself, did ya- Cletus?

I guess you would be wrong.... again..... Cletus. I actually found that highly amusing, & I was pretty certain you couldn't have come up with it all on your own.

The Presbyterian church now blesses gay marriage as a Christian union and in fact will allow same sex church marriages, so,

let's say this Davis woman is working, and two Presbyterian women come in for a marriage license.

Whose religious rights under the 1st Amendment get to be exercised?

The Presbyterian couple who want to marry, or the whatever-Christian denomination she is clerk who claims a religious right to refuse them?

The office should have more than one person issuing marriage licenses.

The issue with Ms Davis from a managerial stand-point, is she is putting conditions on her employment. She should be re-assigned. Moreover, she is a Apostolic Christian, not a Presbyterian. While both are christian, they have their different views on gay marraige

Again, this is a Management issue. The auto pen signs Ms Davis perhaps, but anyone can run the machine

If the authorities don't crack down on these Fundamentalist pushing to install Christaria Law ( Christian Sharia ) on everyone in the U.S. there is going to be another civil war.

If one of those queers had pulled a gun and shot the bitch and I was on the jury I would NEVER have found them guilty.

She deserved it.

She holds an elected position. She can not be reassigned. She was elected to do a specific job. She can not take some other persons job or potential job just because she doesn't want to do the one she was elected for. The county doesn't owe her a new or different job.

And she does not owe fags the right to desecrate marriage

This law should be null and void

Interesting that you think YOUR opinion and YOUR religious belief should over rule the Supreme Court because it disagrees with you.

And so do many lower courts that decided for gay marriage before it got to the Supreme Court.

Can you explain why you think YOUR beliefs overrule the Supreme Court?

Citing the Bible is an immediate loss in this discussion == it has no bearing.

She owes fags and anyone else whatever her supervisory authority tells her she owes. If she doesn't like or agree with what her bosses tell her, she has the option of finding a new job. As an elected official and agent for the government she does not have the right to establish a government endorsed and promoted religion. She can not use her authority as a government official to force valid American citizens to adhere to her personal religious beliefs. That is violating the first amendment rights of the citizens that come to her office for a government document. Her insistence of violating the constitutional rights of American citizens is the reason she is sitting in a jail cell instead of eating burgers and ribs on Labor Day Weekend.

If Kim Davis apologizes to all the gays she has harmed, they should let her out

No they don't. You know why?

They're not in marriage that's why...........................

Instead they are in some perverted relationships founded in failures throughout life.

I have no issues to with a herd of Broke Back Mountain cowboys...

It's just when you pass me on the street hand in had with my wife (save your wife justification, No trough swingers need apply) I'll give you a wink.

Kind of like the black guy with the white woman does.

I agree with Huck. Times are playing out just as the bible describes

So she goes to jail yet millions of criminal aliens crossing our borders get a pass.

Resist the mark

------------------------------------------

ASHLAND, Ky. (CBSDC/AP) — A defiant county clerk was sent to jail for contempt Thursday after insisting that her “conscience will not allow” her to follow a federal judge’s orders to issue marriage licenses to gay couples.

“God’s moral law conflicts with my job duties,” Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis told U.S. District Judge David Bunning. “You can’t be separated from something that’s in your heart and in your soul.”

The judge said she left him with no alternative but to jail her, since fines alone would not change her mind. A deputy escorted her out of the courtroom, although not in handcuffs, to be turned over to the custody of federal marshals.

Huckabee: 'Kim Davis In Federal Custody Removes All Doubts About The Criminalization Of Christianity In This Country'
Wow!!!...millions of illegal aliens crossed the border and took an oath to impartially carry out the job duties of the clerk???

No they should not let her out.

Every time she refused someone a license, she committed a HATE CRIME which is punishable by PRISON TIME under Federal Law.

Most people don't realize the seriousness of her offenses.

She defied multiple courts and finally she defied the Supreme Court of the United States and she declares HER BELIEFS TRUMP THE SUPREME COURT.

That cannot be allowed to go unpunished.

She should serve SERIOUS prison time.
