If I woke up tomorrow with no debt, I'd pack my bags and move home to southcoast Massachusetts - because I love New England with my whole heart.

Since I'm 'stuck' in rural Montana for the time being, I try to focus on the positive - sweeping vistas, abundant wildlife, low taxes, low cost of living, friendly people (some serious whackadoodles in the mix, but they are everywhere), and when you spread your arms out there is plenty of room before you bump into your neighbor.

Besides, I'm spreading liberalism in a place that keenly needs some balance. It's like political Peace Corps service here in the homeland.

Pretty sure that'll go over like the attempts to turn Texas blue...and could possibly get you shot.

They have a brewery there, it brews my favorite brown ale. The Mrs, suggested we go somewhere we could find work, so I moved with the company.

Lived in New England for 5 years....it is beautiful, but so darn cold........brrr. You'll find all kinds of threads here, those like you mentioned, but we also have a CDZ (Clean Debate Zone) where the trolls who can't talk without cursing don't dare go in there....cause they can't debate. We also have The Lounge and a couple of threads where you can just mingle and get to know people...some have been here a long time and others not so long....good place to really get to know the members.
