It's insulting to tell people who have children in the military that they are "deluding" themselves.

In light of the other thread, I find this an interesting question, as well. I'm a prolific reader of science fiction, and several authors have dealt with this question: How long will believers wait before losing faith?

It's been 2,000 years. At what point do you believe that Christianity will lose faith in Christ's return? Never? In 1,000 more years? In 5,000 more years? What impact does the non-returning of Christ have on the belief system?

After all, it's been predicted hundreds of times, to no avail. Would we have any reason to believe that it actually will occur?

How long have Christians claimed that we are living in the end times? It'll never end. They will continue as they always have.

Not intended that way. Just when Jesus first came, it was the very people who believed in a messiah was the first one's to reject him and cried for him to be crucified. As I look out at the world today and observe and listen to the faithful, I have no doubt that the story will be repeated. But hey, that's just my observation. Take it for what it's worth. No one has the guts to admit it, but for most, Money is what really drives the masses. Money is the true God, Ownership is the Holy spirit and Power is the Savior.

Iraq had NOTHING to do with 9/11. Zero. Zilch. Nada.
