Ron Paul doesn't want "appeasement". He wants a Military that doesn't project itself like a Roman Empire.

The problem in the Middle East today is a direct result of CIA involvement and US Gov't support of Al Qaida in that region.

What Obama has been doing is WORSE than simple appeasement. He has allowed both friend and foe to wonder where we stand and whether we're strong enough to meet the challenges of the day. He's failed to represent us as the standard bearer of our American principles in such matters as Freedom of Speech and tolerance.
