But here's the problem. The "producers" aren't happy to actually have people work for their keep....

If they can get something made cheaper in China, they do it. Forget the fact the quality is often shit.

If they can do a six sigma project to get a job done by 3 people to be done by one, they do that. If they can buy a machine that does the work of a person, they do that, too.

The goal of the "producers" is to make their own club even more exclusive.

And even when people do work, it's often not for enough.

40% of people on Food Stamps have at least one person in the family that has a job. The same with Medicare or Section 8 housing. It's not that people are unwilling to work, it's that the wealthy seek to cheat them at every oppurtunity. The firewall against the kind of European socialism that Mitt and his rich friends fear is a strong middle class, and he's been spending the last 30 years doing his part to destroy that.

It's not "how many" it's how much, people like the Romney kids and the Wall-Mart clan take more than tens of millions of regular Americans and produce so little in return, it's how much, not how many. The government is being reshaped to sever the interest of those who wish to tell the rest of us "little" people how to live, who to marry, what medical procedures we can have, how much we make, because unions are wrong, they are born with the money then work their whole lives trying to reduce the value of American's time by fighting any increase in wages.

Not all, but most poor people are that way because they are lazy, make bad decisions, have bad attitudes, have kids out of wedlock, etc.

I am one of the 47% in Central Florida not working. I don't collect welfare, but a Federal Judge awarded me Disability after my teaching career had to end.

So disabled you had to sue in Federal court to prove it ?

The only way it is done. To get your SSDI benefit you have to prove your disability. Your doc has to certify it, Social Security's doctor has to certify it after an exam, AND you have to be cleared by a Soc. Security shrink, too. Then you get questioned by the Judge at the hearing.

SSDI isn't just handed out like Bain Capital pink slips. It is hard to get. You really truly have to not be physically able to work.
