The government runs on what's basically one big credit card for those who don't work. "Well you guys can just use this and then the taxpayers will pay that card off for you every month." While I do understand why some people want to use taxpayer dollars to evenly distribute wealth so we're not 1/2 third world country, 1/2 first world country, it's done the incorrect way.

Those on unemployment (some understandably had the unfortunate event of being fired/laid off from their douche bag employer) shouldn't be receiving as much in one week as someone who's even making minimum wage yet alone $12 or so an hour while working full time. They should be making $150 or so a week. $150 is base income plus $50 a month in food stamps (go shop at Aldi), and then if the person decides to contribute to society by means of community service, they can receive another $200 a month, but at least they're contributing to society and not just sitting on their ass. Total paid out? $550/month, or essentially $3.44 an hour (when equal to a 40 hour work week).

How do you manage $550 a month you ask? Well, you can take a bus to the grocery store and your job interviews. Need clothes for the interview? Apply for a grant that'll give you a $50 limit on purchasing clothes ONE TIME for your interview(s), with the receipt intact sent back to the government IRS. If the receipt isn't returned within 10 business days of receiving this grant a warrant for your arrest will be put out because the money spent should be audited. The money remaining on the card that provides this grant will be returned to the taxpayer pool, and if you get a job after using this grant, it's coming off of your next year's tax return, if you get one. A cell phone from T-Mobile could cost you $3 a day and that's only if you use it, easily affordable for emergencies only or for being contacted for job interviews, you aren't entitled to a taxpayer funded Obamaphone. Companies like National Grid provide electricity for those who are poor at a reduced rate subsidized by other customers already, use your monthly allotment towards the bill. You don't need wi-fi or high speed internet, use dial-up for $5 a month. If you need a place to live, ask a family member and we'll give them a generous tax credit of $500 a month, with a maximum of $3,000/year for providing the service to you, which will then be garnished from YOUR wages once you get a job.

In fact, if anything is so important to get you back on your feet that you need a small wad of cash, we could give it to you, but everything should have to have a receipt and be audited by the IRS or else a warrant will be put out for your arrest.

Obamacare was designed to fail so the Feds could go single payer and then your healthcare will be like a pothole.

GOP getting Ready to Brutally Sodomize the AMERICAN people

Leaked Report Says Millions Would Lose Health Coverage
    February 25, 2017

“Republican replacement plans for Obamacare would lead to significant declines in the number of Americans with health insurance coverage,” according to a McKinsey analysis presented at the National Governors Association and obtained by Vox.

“The analysis includes graphs on what the Republican plan to overhaul Obamacare’s tax credits, generally making them less generous, would do. They are based on the recent 19-page proposal that Republican leadership released about their plan to repeal and replace Obamacare.”

You better do your research better. The mandate is very much still alive today.

You don't know what you are talking about, very far from everyone, only about 10-15% have a plan from individual insurance exchanges or Medicaid expansion.

Most people get their insurance through their employer and out of those most already had a plan that met ACA standards.

The excutive order is kabuki theater fluff.

IRS never had any teeth to go after mandate collection anyway and EO explicitly states the congress passed law still needs to be complied with.

Apparently you're too vapid to understand what I posted.

Here's a hint for the clueless: IF YOU PAY FOR IT AND/OR IT AFFECTS THE CONTENTS OF YOUR INSURANCE YOU "HAVE IT" whether you actually get any benefits from it or not

No go re-read what I posted again and keep re-reading it until the fucking OBVIOUS sinks in, see ya in 20 years or so.

Here is clue - THAT IS CLEARLY NOT WHAT THE OP WAS ASKING, nor does it make any sense.

By this lunatic standard we are all on foodstamps because we all pay for it in some way. Of course unlike foodstamps ACA subsidy spending was paid for with taxes that mostly affect only those without insurance and top braket income, so there is even less of a connection then that.
