The good Michelle’s article gave me an idea.

Let me begin by saying that I have been a victim of FDR’s New Deal all of my life. The question is: How does an old dude trade in worn-out victim maltreatment for privileged brand new refugee status?

The left has concocted a lucrative category of politically correct victims: "climate refugees." It's the new Green racket.

At these prices “refugee” is a smart career choice:

The New York Times splashed a viral story on its pages this week spotlighting the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's $48 million grant to Native-Americans who live in the flood-ravaged coastal community of Isle de Jean Charles. About 60 residents, the majority of whom belong to the Biloxi-Chitimacha-Choctaw tribe, will be resettled to drier land.

That's a whopping $800,000 per "climate refugee!"

Guess what?

Obama's social engineers are already plotting how to replicate the climate change relocation program. "We see this as setting a precedent for the rest of the country, the rest of the world," declared HUD official Marion McFadden, who is running the program.

The United Nations created economic refugees out of thin air —— then sent them here. Experience tells the story. UN parasites can smell a tax dollar from the other side of the world:

Even worse, the United Nations is looking to preemptively "address extreme weather displacement" by targeting refugees even before any apocalyptic event has caused them to seek refuge.

Tale of Two Tribes: 'Climate Refugees' vs. EPA Victims

Just to be clear about becoming a refugee. I do not want to be a poor refugee in my own country. I want to be a rich refugee living on tax dollars. Hell, they can even send over the dough every month after they resettle me in a First World country.

Finally, I hope I get some of the climate money before slavery reparation hustlers figure out how to become climate refugees.

All you got to do is play the victim card and how you were duped by some left wing fantasy catastrophe.. And then demand money as you deserve reparations..

You will get all sorts of left wing "feeling" centered fools who will give up their freedoms and piles of other peoples money to make you "Feel" better...

The stupid, It burns...

Being the recipient of freedom and democracy seems to do it.
To cnm: Freedom and democracy do not belong in the sentence unless you praise the former and crap on the latter.
What's with an arch conservative wanting free stuff anyway?
To cnm: Did you miss this:

No matter. I will take it so long as I am not required to pretend to advocate the garbage Democrats/Socialists/Communists attach to spending tax dollars. In the unlikely event I got “. . . $800,000 . . .” I would not vote for them. That is one difference between an archconservative and parasites.

In any event, they take from Americans they do not give.

To Billy_Bob: You got that right. My problem is that I will not play the parasite’s game.

Since you ask, according to the WSJ, simply being from Puerto Rico makes you a "refugee" if you come to the USA for any reason.

Puerto Rico’s Debt Portent

Never mind that you'd be a US Citizen, free to go anywhere in the USA, and to vote in whatever location you settled down in. Bastion of enlightenment, that WSJ.

To mamooth: Since you brought it up:

NOTE: It was Puerto Rico that opened the door to illegal aliens. In the early 1950s illegal aliens from Central and South America came here and passed themselves off as Puerto Ricans. If I had my druthers I would cut Puerto Rico loose. First tell Puerto Ricans they cannot have it both ways —— then give them their independence whether or not they want it.

WHAT AN IGNORANT FOOL..

Dry periods and wet periods happen naturally.. and have been for millions of years.

Lightening storms, which would usually burn the ground fuels yearly have been stopped by stupid humans allowing a massive build up of ground fuels over the last 80 years. Now they get a mega fire due to poor management of the forest and you want to blame CAGW... WHICH IS PROVABLY NOT THE CASE..

The stupid, It burns... Your just as breathless as CNM and Mathew... and just as ignorant..

Second year in a row Canada is getting record fires. Second year in a row they are getting record temperatures with low humidity. Third year in a row the world is getting record high temperatures. Now what could that possibly have to do with 400+ ppm of CO2 and 1800+ ppb of CH4? Silly Billy, you are not just stupid, you are willfully stupid.
