...No Worse Enemy
Some people never learn. If you take the man's money you obey the man's rules. We, the secular nation you live in, are the man in this case.

"Bremerton superintendent Aaron Leavell sent a letter to Kennedy as a warning to stop his routine prayers because they “violate the First Amendment’s Establishment Clause” and expose the district to “significant risk of liability.”

As a result, Leavell said while Kennedy can continue providing inspirational talks, those talks cannot include religious expression, including prayer.

Kennedy’s response? He respectfully disagrees.

“I love my players. It’s an honor to work with them and teach them about good sportsmanship and teamwork. I hope the school district will allow me to continue working with these kids – and thanking God for them.”

Kennedy prayed with his team after the homecoming game Friday night."

I never understood why people get upset about someone praying for them to their specific god. Its all good no matter what deity is invoked.
Baloney! The Right would have a shit-fit if the coach gave a Muslim prayer to his team before the game, and you know it.

Yep. If he was anything but a right-wing Christian all hell would be breaking loose, literally...

So, what about the students not in the same religion? They are forced to tolerate it because he is their coach or whatever.

Thats my point. It shouldnt matter as long as the intent is positive.

Intent is a moot point unless you know of an all-Muslim American football team. If one exists, please correct me. I can see it now, with their cheerleaders doing flips in burqas, shouting "Allah Ack-Score, Allah Ack-Score!".

I don't see anything wrong with someone praying before a game. If you don't like what is being said by another person, don't pay any attention to it.

God bless you always!!! :) :) :)

Liberal atheists have yet to come up with a valid reason to prevent a man to pray with his team. If he was having sex orgies with the boys, you would have less contempt for the man, if at all. It is no business of yours if he prays. We have a right to exercise our religious beliefs.

Is it possible that the democrat/socialist brave new world will fire people for praying in private or break into their homes when they get a tip that a coach might be praying for his team?

I dont see how you combined those two thoughts. Intent is the point. There are plenty of muslim players on football teams.

Way to go coach! Not a violation most libtards misuse the constitution, in this case the establishment clause, which has nothing to do with people practicing religion openly in schools. Retard.

The state, and those who work for it, are not allowed to endorse any religion in their official capacity, period.
