BTW, almost all the BBC tv shows that air on my PBS station have a homosexual in them somewhere. Some of them even make out, close ups and all.

It's part of our society now, but, I don't think it's really a good idea to turn a blind eye one way or the other about what is best for the individual and/or society. Like most things, I think open discussion is a good thing, but, that requires an open mind....

I watch little TV, especially sitcoms, so I don't know how the LGBT community is being portrayed, nor do I really care. However, it doesn't surprise me that the TV industry is trying to foist a good image for itself by hyper-inflating the amount of gay viewers. People are dumb though, they'll just accept that.
