Holder at it again....

When was the last time you had to wait in an eight hour line to open a PO box or go to the courthouse or open a bank account or apply for a job or apply for welfare or buy cough medicine or get a prescription or rent a car or buy a car or get car insurance or get a Sheetz card (whatever the hell that is) or use a credit card or buy cigarettes or buy alcohol or any of the stuff included in the so on and so forth?

Who is waiting eight hours and why?

You're going to pretend you never heard about those lines in Florida?

No I didn't, but so what if they did wait? So long as they still got to pull the lever it's all good.

Holder is doing exactly what his job calls for. There's a reason it's called the Department of Justice and not the Department of Voter Supression.
Yes, it's called the Department of Justice...not the Department of Using the Threat of Government Force to Promote the Progressive Agenda.

Apparently, neither you nor Holder got that memo.

Gee, why doesn't Obama have a Constitution shredding party in the White House rose garden.

How Holder makes the great leap from being compelled to identify one's self in order to cast a ballot to racism is a mystery.

It’s not a ‘mystery’ when one is aware of the facts:

Fact: voter ‘fraud’ by identity has changed the outcome of no election.

Fact: there is no evidence ID laws prevent ‘fraud.’

Fact: Older African-American voters lack the documents necessary, such as a birth certificate, to obtain an ID because these documents weren’t issued or records not kept in jurisdictions practicing segregation.

When these voters first registered to vote, in some cases decades ago, they were not required to provide a state issued photo ID, and were allowed to use other documents or testimony to verify identity and citizenship.

Given these facts and lack of evidence in support of voter ID laws, the AG is perfectly justified to challenge the constitutionality of such measures in Federal court.

And remember: no one is opposing requiring a voter to verify who he is when he first registers to vote; but a registered voter, who has voted in every election since he last registered, and shows as eligible to vote on current registration rolls, should not be compelled to again provide ID when he is indeed otherwise eligible to vote.

Voter fraud...The reason why this safeguard is being put into place is to insure the integrity of the vote. I see nothing wrong with that.
"Fact: Older African-American voters lack the documents necessary, such as a birth certificate, to obtain an ID because these documents weren’t issued or records not kept in jurisdictions practicing segregation."...
That's bullshit. Unless someone is over 80 years old and was not born in a hospital or in a county where records are poorly kept, this argument holds no water.
Most of these people have driver's licenses, own homes, have bank accounts, are on public assistance, rent post office boxes instead of having their mail home delivered, etc. All of which require a satisfactory and acceptable ID to obtain.

"When these voters first registered to vote, in some cases decades ago, they were not required to provide a state issued photo ID, and were allowed to use other documents or testimony to verify identity and citizenship."...
And they may use those same documents to obtain what is most likely to be a free government issued ID.
Holder is not challenging the Constitutionality of these laws. He is merely creating litigation to have them nullified. Something he legally does not have the power to do.
But in keeping with the Obama admin's pattern of flouting the law, Holder is doing it anyway.
Most of the people you describe in your post rarely vote anyway. Some have never voted. Some have no idea where their polling place is located. Nor do they care.
And BTW, based on your idea, this would affect whites just as much if not more, because there are far more whites living in rural areas than blacks.

Why is Holder doing this? After all, its the law of the land. Is he an American hater?

So Eric....when are you going to go after California for giving more benefits to Illegal Immigrants and several cities refusing to report illegal immigrants to ICE?

Wait...what was that? I can't hear you!

So nothing to say on that subject, huh?
