A lie detector test did show that GZ did not confront TM and he did fear for his life. Like I've said all along, this case is an f'ing sham.

Smoking Gun:
A day after killing Trayvon Martin, George Zimmerman passed a police lie detector test when asked if he confronted the teenager and whether he feared for his life “when you shot the guy,” according to documents released today by Florida prosecutors.

According to a “confidential report” prepared by the Sanford Police Department, Zimmerman, 28, willingly submitted to a computer voice stress analyzer (CVSA) “truth verification” on February 27. Investigators concluded that he “has told substantially the complete truth in regards to this examination.”

Zimmerman, the report noted, “was classified as No Deception Indicated (NDI).”

Along with questions about whether his first name was George and if it was Monday, Zimmerman was asked, “Did you confront the guy you shot?’ He answered, “No.” He was also asked, “Were you in fear for your life, when you shot the guy.” Zimmerman replied, “Yes.”

Before the CVSA test, Zimmerman--who was apparently not accompanied by legal counsel--signed a Sanford Police Department release stating that he was undergoing the examination “voluntarily, without duress, coercion, threat or promise.”

The lie detector test was requested by Chris Serino, a homicide investigator with the Sanford Police Department

Good grief. Eyewitnesses, character witnesses, police reports, medical reports, and now a freaking Lie Detector... And they still won't let the poor guy go! What, exactly, does the prosecution have left? Anything? At all?

Well you know...lie detectors aren't always right.
That's what you'll be hearing very soon....Z was just too smart for it, because he's got a "murderer's mind".......

I don't know if GZ is innocent or guilty, I just hope that justice is done. If he's innocent I hope it goes that way, if not, throw his ass in jail.

My own personal opinion is that he's innocent, but I wasn't there so........

Lie detector responses to level of nervousness in people and thus is very unreliable. A pathological liar with steady nerves can easily pass a lie detector test, while a nervous honest people will easily fail.

Polygraphy has little credibility among scientists.[23][24] Despite claims of 90-95% validity by polygraph advocates, and 95-100% by businesses providing polygraph services,[non-primary source needed] critics maintain that rather than a "test", the method amounts to an inherently unstandardizable interrogation technique whose accuracy cannot be established

So unless he planned ahead with some unkown trick that works perfectly...

Zimmerman's statements and actions immediately following the shooting suggest he's telling the truth. The physical evidence and witness statements we've seen so far back up his story. I'm still waiting so see what the prosecution has that will convict him of Murder?

This is already being discussed elsewhere. Lie detectors are incredibly unreliable. All they do is measure how calm you are. A person can lie, and remain calm, and appear to be telling the truth. Meanwhile, a person can be telling the truth, but be nervous or in an emotional state, and appear to be lying. This is why they aren't admissible in court.
