A day after announcing her opposition to the Keystone XL pipeline, Hillary Clinton is explaining how she came to her decision, writing in a post on Medium, that "the effects of climate change have grown more acute" since the application for the project was filed.
"I have come to feel I can't stay silent on an issue that matters so much to so many," Clinton wrote. "Though I wanted to give the president space to make a decision, the process has taken far longer than I expected.
I want the American people to know where I stand. That's why I am making it clear: I am opposed to the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline."

So what she is saying is she wants Canada to ship 1 million barrels a day via oil tankers in waters that are known as "winter hurricanes" every year!

Why is Hillary and the environmentalists so stupid as to contest a pipeline that in one mile holds less then 700 barrels while if NOT built Canada will ship the 1 million barrels in a tanker that travels one mile through Unimak Pass which is about 800 miles southwest of Anchorage.
David Mosley, public affairs specialist for the U.S. Coast Guard in Alaska, says that the thousands of ships that already navigate its waters each year face "winter hurricanes" with 40-foot seas and 100-knot winds that appear with little advanced notice.
In a typical year, at least one ship gets into trouble. "A vessel will have some sort of mechanical or physical issue that then puts them at the mercy of the weather and the waves."

The Dangers of Not Building Keystone XL

So now environmentalists want to add equivalent of 365 tankers carrying 365 million barrels into the waters known for "winter hurricanes"??
Makes NO SENSE ... but wait what the hell is the prime characteristic of environmentalists... they make no sense!

1993 – The Bouchard B155, Balsa 37, and Ocean 255 collided in Tampa Bay, causing the Bouchard to spill 336,000 gallons of No. 6 fuel oil.

2000 – The Westchester ran aground near Port Sulphur, Louisiana, dumping 567,000 gallons of crude oil into the lower Mississippi River.
2008 – A barge carrying 419,000 gallons of heavy fuel collided with a 600-foot tanker in the Mississippi River, near New Orleans. Hundreds of thousands of gallons of fuel were spilled.
