Clinton Fails to Respond to Benghazi Lawsuit Filed by Victims’ Parents

"The attorney representing parents of two Benghazi victims filed an affidavit in federal court asking for a default judgment against former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton after she didn’t respond to a lawsuit they filed against her in August, LawNewz reported.

The lawsuit from Pat Smith and Charles Woods — parents of U.S. Foreign Service member Sean Smith and Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods who died in the Sept. 11, 2012, attack on the American consulate — alleges that Clinton wrongfully caused their sons’ deaths. They also sued the Democratic presidential nominee for defamation and intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress.

Their attorney, Larry Klayman of Freedom Watch, wrote the following in an affidavit, Lawnewz said: “Despite having been served in this matter, no appearance has been entered by Defendant Hillary Clinton, no responsive pleading has been filed or served upon counsel for Plaintiffs: no motions for extension of time have been filed.” He added that the court “is requested to enter a Default against Defendant Hillary Clinton.”


1. Hillary has missed a deadline to file anything against the law suit, so a 'WIN' in the case could be awarded to the plaintiffs.

2. As this is not a criminal case, far less evidence is required to win.

3. Don't be surprised if Hillary, Like bubba did in the Paula Jones Sexual Harassment case, doesn't just quietly offer / give the parents a wad of cash to go away and drop the suit.
