Good lord! Environmental hustlers outdid themselves on this one:

Shanghai’s semen is facing an unprecedented crisis with experts labelling pollution as one of the “major culprits” for the mega-city’s increasingly dismal sperm quality, Chinese media claimed.

Population control has been China’s primary domestic policy since 1979 (6 years after Roe v. Wade); so isn’t a little infertility better than forced abortions?

Li Zheng, a sperm expert from the Urology department at Shanghai’s Renji Hospital, told the newspaper he was “very worried” about how male infertility rates were “increasing year on year”.

Sell your stock in condom companies if there is any truth to the story. On the plus side humping without fear of pregnancy has long been the goal of studs and tarts alike.

I cannot help wondering if Dr. Li Zheng ever considered the possibility that pounding one’s pud lowers sperm quality. He can check with Jocelyn Elders for data on the topic.

Finally, I’ll wager that you did not know that a United Nations agency sets sperm standards:

Here’s the question that must be answered. Will men with high sperm quality become the first group targeted for extermination after the UN’s global government is up and running? Get UN-lover John Kerry’s views before you answer:

But Kerry has gone what in better days would have been universally held to be one bridge too far. In a speech last year to the NARAL Pro-Choice America Dinner, he gave an intellectually suicidal summary of his views.

XXXXX

Kerry continued: "There (shall be) no more cutbacks on population control efforts around the world." This endorses abortion Chinese-style. Too many people? Too few abortions.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and answer for Kerry on this issue: “There’s too much high quality sperm swimming around out there.”

. . . there’s one thing that’s going right for Obama: Executive action on climate change is moving full-speed ahead at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

“He may be able to do more through climate change [rules] because the EPA has the authority,” Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) told The Hill on Thursday.

He screwed up everything he touched. Now he is on his way to another disaster when his UN bureaucracy, the EPA, orders more wind turbines be built for the insects:

Bats, which play an important role in the ecosystem as insect-eaters, are killed at wind turbines not only by collisions with moving turbine blades but also by the trauma resulting from sudden changes in air pressure that occur near a fast-moving blade, the study said.

Study author Mark Hayes of the University of Colorado notes that 600,000 is a conservative estimate -- the true number could be 50 percent higher than that -- and some areas of the country might experience much higher bat fatality rates at wind energy facilities than others.

And where is the —— save this and save that —— crowd when you need them? They should be demanding that bats be put the endangered species list if all of those wind turbines are not dismantled.
