Here's Why Obama Will Lose.

The truth is there are so many reasons why Obama should lose, and in years past would lose by a record landslide.
Unfortunately we live in such a divided country now, to the point that Obama has so many built-in voters, that will vote for him no matter what.
Will it be enough? I don't know, but in saner times the election would be a laughingstock.

He's no trolling for votes by paying mexico off.

I think it's his tactics that are going to do him in. His hardcore base loves it, but he's got them anyway. It's others in his own party who see the real man now compared to the Hope & Change b.s. of 4 years ago. They witness the class and racial divisiveness he constantly stirs up and it turns some of them off because that's not the Democratic party they know and respect. So he'll lose some of them, along with independents and others who won't give him a second go-round this election.

One and done. Has a nice ring to it IMO.

I realize that you will not understand this post, much less how it applies to your post...but my love of history forces me to offer it for consideration.

Large groups and even entire populations can be swayed by propaganda, and an unending drumbeats, such as that provided by government schools and Liberal universities, so as to be mislead.


The French Revolution presumably replaced superstition and religion with reason, and science. The residue of such is that intelligentsia of today cannot conceive of a death-obsessed mass movement assembled around pathology and irrationality.

1. Herein one can see the weakness of a belief that humans can use ‘reason’ sans morality, to guide life, since supposedly intelligent folks can gaze at the craziest and most violent of movements, and claim to find no basis to be upset, or surprised. This earnest response, dismissal of the danger emanating from irrational mass movements, can- to some, seem entirely normal and understandable. Such is what we have come to call ‘reason.’

a. Even to folks such as journalists, writers, and politicians, who calmly report and discuss pathological movements, find believable explanations, and move on.


2. There were the arguments used to convince liberal-minded people of the virtue and progressive nature of Stalin and the Communist movement…even during its most malevolent days? Deliberately starving to death millions of Ukrainian farmer, or that he reintroduced slave labor, or that he was whimsically liquidating his own followers and comrade? Extraordinary, unlikely, impossible. Not consistent with the civilized ideals of the Marxist movement.

3. Ironically, today good-hearted liberals sneer at the people who, in the ‘30’s, sneered at those who exposed Stalin. Today, we are sophisticated, we can’t imagine how folks then believed that commie propaganda, delusionary- albeit seductive- arguments to arouse liberal sympathies for totalitarian movements.

But Obama's 2006 speech contradicted his own memoir Dreams from My Father (p17) in which he writes of his grandfather:

a. Stanley and Madelyn Dunham in 1955 picked up and relocated 2,000 miles from Texas to Seattle. The next year they relocated to Mercer Island specifically so their daughter, Obama's future mother Stanley Ann Dunham could attend Mercer Island High School. Another attraction: The East Shore Unitarian Church, also a hotbed of leftist activism.

One year earlier, Mercer Island schools had distinguished themselves in a way which might have caused others to avoid them. The Chicago Tribune explains,

Mercer Island's John Stenhouse, according to his 2000 obituary, once served as church president possibly contributing to the ‘red' label.

The Dunhams moved to Honolulu in 1960 after Ann graduated and quickly became friends with leftists such as now-Rep. Neil Abercrombie (D-HI) and Communist Party member Frank Marshall Davis. Obama's mother-to-be enrolled at the University of Hawaii and soon met Barack Obama Sr. in a Russian language class. She would remain affiliated with the University for most of her life.
