Only if the debt and deficit is paid down and he govt. stops borrowing from the treasury dept..

The debt can be paid down. The deficit cannot be paid down. The deficit is a figure on a ledger sheet, it is not money spent or received, it is a budget, a HOPE LIST.

Neither Social Security nor Medicare will go bankrupt simply because it's not possible. To raise the question means you don't understand bankruptcy or the Structure of Social Security and Medicare.

Neither will go bankrupt but they will run out of money.

They both are massive unfunded liabilities. Note the last line:

Switching to govt services is RARELY a way to "save money".

nobody is talking about switching to govt services, just switching from one from of socialism to a more efficient form of socialism like the one they have in Europe.

Europe does not have Socialism. Venezuela and North Korea have Socialism.

The Social Trust Fund is still growing and will continue to grow through 2019. At that time benefits being paid out of the fund will be less than income from payroll taxes coming into the fund, so the fund will begin shrinking. By 2034, the fund will be exhausted. Although this is a serious problem, it should be pointed out the existing payroll taxes will be enough to pay 3/4 of the benefits. So as a worst case scenario, social benefits would be cut 25% after 2034.

In order to avoid a 25% cut in benefits, some combination of the following options would have to be implemented. The sooner fixes are implemented the less burdensome it will be on the public.

  • Cutting benefits for high-income or wealthy retirees
  • Increasing the full retirement age to 68, or even 70
  • Using a slower-growing index to calculate cost-of-living adjustments (COLA)
  • Increase the payroll tax rate from 6.2% to 7.2% or even 8.2% for employers and employees, gradually over a period of several years.
  • Increase the cap on Social Security taxable wages, or eliminate it entirely.
About mid-century, the impact of the 20th century baby boomers will subside and with it the pressure on social security will decrease at least until automation and other factors take hold.

Europe has socialism based on the first definition at least and perhaps the second definition to a lesser extent. Do you understand?

Paying off debt in six years is simple. We merely need to switch to healthcare capitalism and use the savings to pay off the debt.

Why does our, One Percenter in Chief, believe we need tax cuts during times of massive debt?

To increase the growth of the economy thereby increasing the revenue. A concept foreign to all Progressives.
If you run the numbers you'll see that growth is not enough to pay off the debt. If the economy grows 2% more a year and the government collects 20% of that it's about $60 billion which doesn't even shrink the deficit let alone touch the debt.

The way to pay off the debt is to switch to healthcare capitalism. The savings from that would pay off the debt in about six years

Europe has socialism based on the first definition at least and perhaps the second definition to a lesser extent. Do you understand?

Most of Europe has massive taxation to pay for all the services their citizens demand but are proving unaffordable. Their industry operates privately.

Again, Socialism is practiced in North Korea and Venezuela.

Once again for you.

Obviously you are being silly in using an old technical definition of socialism. Modern socialists know they are far too stupid to own and manage business so instead they seek to tax and regulate business. Sorry to rock your world!

These days, the word socialism gets tossed around so much, it's almost lost all meaning. Originally, though, it was the bedrock of Marxism and meant that workers and their community should control the market for what they make.

Because the Soviet state eventually strayed far from Marx's idea of socialism towards Lenin's totalitarian communism, socialism is now often used to mean everything from "fascism" to "progressivism." But in its purest form, socialism was a political, social, and economic system meant to empower the working class. In the U.S. today, though, it's often used as shorthand for "the services that government provides and which are paid for by taxes." Depending on who's talking, that idea is either a goal or a target.socialism - Dictionary Definition

Speculation is no guarantee.

Solving simple poverty on an at-will basis would act as an, "oil pump" to ensure capital circulates in our economy. That is very important for a multiplier effect.

No, socialism is a kind of government.

See how easy that was?

Government is Socialism.
It's organized management, yes, with the ability to enforce taxation and compliance with laws. Whether it is socialism is something else.

Would it be better to stop Welfare after 2 years, FORCE people back to work, instead of them suckling the government teat forever?

In order to get most forms of welfare, you have to be employed. This is a consequence of the 1996 Welfare Reform Conservatives passed. It mandated that to get welfare, you had to be employed, in job training, or in school. Also, it changed the way welfare was distributed from direct-DC-to-recipient to block grants the states then distributed. However, the reform only mandated something like 33% of the block grant be spent on federal welfare programs, with the remaining 67% for the states to use at their discretion. And what did most red states do? They distributed the minimum required amount then used the rest to plug the deficits that appeared in their budgets from their tax cuts. So Conservatives quite literally use welfare to fund their trickle-down schemes.

[Well if more people were out in force, not Obama's minimum wage jobs, then more people would contribute to the Ponzi scheme of Social Security and Medicare, making them more solvent, while more people who Obama put in poverty stay on welfare, then those holes in the economy wont contribute to anything.

A few points:

1. The jobs Obama created were not minimum wage jobs. They were full time jobs, and wages during Obama rose for all workers (albiet it rose much higher for those at the top).

2. A ponzi scheme results in someone at the top making off with all the money from everyone else. You haven't bothered to explain how Social Security is a Ponzi scheme since it pays out full benefits. If anything, we should remove the cap on taxable SS income from the $125K it is right now. Doing so would result in solvency for another couple decades while also allowing an expansion of benefits.

3. Medicare and Social Security are solvent through at least next decade. So it's hard to see how they are contributing to the problems we face today. Also, if you don't want them to go insolvent, the fixes are very simple; remove the cap on taxable SS income, and raise the Medicare tax to account for the rush of Boomers into retirement. As those Boomers die off, you can lower the Medicare tax. There is no rule that says the Medicare tax rate has to stay where it is. It can (and should) be adjusted to accommodate demographic shifts. Not adjusting it is just stupidity.

4. Obama didn't put people in poverty, you fucking assholes did. You did when you destroyed the economy. You did when you refused to raise the minimum wage (which would lift millions out of poverty and decrease welfare spending). You did when you passed tax cuts for the wealthy that were not paid for, which caused household debt to skyrocket.

5. Red states contribute aboslutely nothing to the Treasury. Most all of them are welfare states that take more than they contribute. They subsidize low taxes by raiding the welfare block grant, which means they literally use welfare to pay for tax cuts. Which would make the entire right-wing fiscal belief system welfare-dependent.
