BAGHDAD, Iraq - U.S. troops backed by a helicopter and jets struck a suspected safehouse of foreign insurgents, killing 12 militants and a woman in a raid near the site where an American helicopter crashed, the U.S. military said Wednesday.

12 insurgents killed today and this is the only mention. One paragraph in a story about the toatal dead today. Unbelievable. No wonder there are so many against this war, this isn't being reported.

bad news is more interesting. Nobody gives much about Iraqi or insurgent lifes.

You also never see headlines like " Its's all good in XYZ"

The blame the messenger whining has become ridicilous. The press will always dwell on the bad , create fear, because that sells.

The problem is not the bad news or uninformed idiots wanting to cut and run.
Its the politicans need to be reelected. With their 99.8% retention rate congress sells out the countries interests to the mob mentality. Bush atleast
    follows through on his concept.
