Heinz closing 3 factories up to 1000 will lose their jobs. Thanks John Kerry

I'm pretty sure John Kerry and his wife Teresa have more than enough cash to help these families out. They're doing pretty well. But i still don't understand why Heinz doesn't have enough money to pay these people. I mean it's Heinz for God's sake. They gotta be rolling in cash. What's going on over there? This is very sad. I'll pray for these poor families.

I don't care who you are this is funny!! I'm thinking they'll open one or two new plants in Mexico, China or South America. :)

It's really not funny... but I get your drift. I hate our economic system. it's fucking destroying our country. We can do so much better.

Has Kerry donated a portion of his enormous income to these families yet? The Holidays are an especially tough time to be given this terrible news. Hopefully Kerry will step up and help these families.

Maybe the CEO should do that... after all, it was his doing that caused those families the harm. Kerry had nothing to do with it and was a simple and completely false attempt at a strawman that fizzled.

So. tell me again why two people who have nothing to do with the running of Heinz inc. should do that? Oh yeah... because you said so.

(AP) - H.J. Heinz Co. CEO William Johnson saw the value of his pay package increase 5 percent to nearly $15.6 million in the most recent fiscal year, according to an Associated Press analysis of a recent regulatory filing.

Heinz, which makes ketchup, Ore-Ida potatoes and other foods, gave Johnson a package worth $14.9 million in the 2010 fiscal year.

Johnson's salary, stock options and awards were nearly unchanged from 2010, according to a document Heinz filed Friday with the Securities and Exchange Commission July 1. His salary remained at $1.25 million. The value of his stock and option awards rose $58 to remain at roughly $4 million.

Because John Kerry and Teresa Heinz are in a position to help these families. That's why. How much are they worth? I think they could help these families.

for wanting more money in your pocket instead of keeping the plants open. (ie kerry is married to the late senator Heinz wife. Can not remember her name.

Guess he wasn't given enough incentives to create jobs.

It's funny, in a sad way, to see conservatives trying to mock the Kerry's for this when in fact what Heinz is doing is exactly what conservatives want them to do,

get the cheapest labor possible and make the highest profit possible.

Actually this is the result of a conservative boycott of HJ Heinz. Have fun with that. We will hurt the leftist machine.

Would you like to know just how wealthy John Kerry and Teresa Heinz are? Because i can list and provide links informing you on how well they're living. Teresa Heinz should feel a responsibility to help these poor people. And she has the means to do it. Period, end of story.

no shit.. what, did conservatives stop eating ketchup and start dipping their freedom fries into jesus sauce made by the Righty McTeaparty company?

give me a fucking break.

In all fairness, Kerry can hardly be held responsible for decisions made at Heinz. Theresa doesn't wear a collar and leash held by John.

To be angry at Heinz for not choosing one of the 6 other countries to displace workers to cut costs would mean you are free to boycott their products.

It's funnier watching you respond with "I'm cool with cheap labor as long as a lib is getting some good coin out of it"...

Looks to me that his criticism addresses the laughable outrage of the OP. Where did he insinuate what you've suggested in that quote?

Does he run the company?

Hey may not run the company but he has political powers that could have helped I am sure.. Dont you think he should have said or did something to stop the lay offs.

Ahhh...so you want government to INTERFER with the free market and private business decisions. How very socialist of you.
