Sorry to hear it Care.

I was really emotional when my dog crossed the rainbow bridge a few years ago.

It's just a BIG hole, and loss....And it was so sudden! And so hard to see her dwindle... Sigh....

I think it's gonna take a little while of well deserved mourning, before we are comforted....

I know the feeling. Our 9 year old dog was mauled by a stray pitbull
7 years ago, and my wife still can't even think about getting another one.
