As molten lava continued spewing from Hawaii’s Kilauea volcano Thursday, Hawaii County ordered all residents of a designated portion of the hard-hit Leilani Estates development to evacuate by Friday morning or face possible arrest.

When you get down to this is America if someone is dumb enough to stay it should be their right.
This is the Government saying you are that stupid of course and they must be your parent because society has come to the need of Governmental parents. Sad but true.

Is that really necessary?? If a person is too stupid to get the hell away from flowing lava streams as fast as they can and die as a result of their intransigence, I believe that's called Natural Selection.

If someone is stupid enough to ignore warnings to evacuate the area, then leave them. Evolution in action. I wouldn't risk rescue personnel to get them out either unless there are kids involved.
