The disastrous events of September 11 has had long term effects on our country.

Are we more united? Are we more divided?
Are we richer? Are we poorer?
    Are we safer?

We are more divided than we were on September 10. But that's not because of the attack.

Right on. It's because of the use of this attack to rule by fear.

More like the use of class warfare and the promotion of the entitlement as a right... to rule by fear, greed, and envy

    I don't blame Al Qada.

Their attack on WTC was a convenient bloody shirt that this administration waved in front of a frightened people (and the equally frightened people's representatives).

Most of the elemeents of our enslavement were already in place in the law thanks to the war on drugs and the mafia, anyway.
