...And the French forensic pathologist a couple years ago who compared Hitlers teeth from his jawbone to the X-rays of Hitler in 1944 discovered years later and said they were in "perfect agreement, with perfect anatomical and technological correspondence.". In fact, they even were able to determine with electron microscopes there was no traces of meat on his remaining teeth, normally found on teeth of the dead, which is important as Hitler was a vegetarian.

...And while being bombed they hatched this plan, to burn and completely destroy all of Hitlers remains, get on the same page with witnesses, including creating fake X-rays and memorizing a different jaw and teeth, of a vegetarian (knowing that future pathologists would be able to use electron microscopes to tell what kind of food the person ate), managed to sneak Hitler out, place his fragments where they would be discovered, but not destroyed and everyone took that to their grave even long after Hitler would have passed... for no apparent reason anymore. Then hide the X-rays in a bunch of other records that an American officer only discovered because his 2nd wife asked him to clean out the basement before moving in well after the war.

That is a LOT of work that is much more difficult than a few witnesses saying he shot himself and all that's left is ash.

Like the best secret of the Nazi Reich was performed to perfection in the worst possible situation and everything fell perfectly including predicting future tech and a random pile of records surviving and being discovered which pulled it all together.

The "Stars and Stripes" is hardly a basis for historic fact. It was a propaganda arm of the FDR administration. There was no criticism of the Truman administration halting Ike and the American Troops from liberating Berlin because the FDR administration scrapped the 1st Amendment for the duration and the Media came under a federal agency. We ended up with a Soviet hoard busy raping and looting and not paying attention to the historic forensic value of positively identifying Hitler's body while Ike and American Troops stood by and were forced to watch.

Well we ended up with a Soviet horde who had over 350k casualties (80k plus dead) in that battle of Berlin, that with two sides would have been likely adding a friendly fire disaster to as well. And Ike had already deemed that Eastern Germany was under Soviet Control and they were not going to relinquish that without a fight. So yeah, at the time, in terms of "historic forensic value" vs. American soldiers lives, the latter was the overwhelming one Americans wanted.

So yeah for Americans at the time, an attack which looks like it would send 1 of every 22 active soldiers home either in a hospital ship or a box, that wasn't seen as something that should be done.
