One of Flair's biggest challenges was against Terry Funk, who put a plastic bag over the Nature Boy's head in 1989. Because of this incident, Funk was initially suspended from wrestling for life plus 20 years.. But he appealed and was reinstated after a review of the rule books showed no rule against plastic bags.

I wonder if the announcers on wrestling programs have to check themselves from saying “Lets go to the stage” instead of “Lets go to the ring.”

Wrestling has been watered down with forgettable stars and uplifting women who may be nasty and damn good but are not on par with the best of the men. But it has a market still although there is no excitement in much of the programs. Attitude needs to come back.
