    Have changed
The far left is now the Dem party and the Center right has become the GOP
GWB extended UE benefits in 03 as post 9-11 hang-over was on going
He had multiple stimulus that were directed straight at the Tax Payer, unlike BHO and his trillion dollar stimulus that was nothing more to reset the base-line of govt spending
those stimulus that GWB had went against his deficits, and yet the very people that will end up paying that debt, got the money at least (in part, not all of those pay taxes

    Romney will govern no diifferent
Sensible tax policy with I am in hopes of spending cuts

Obama has run this whole thing into a place in which it seen by the media as normal, and yet we had a real conservative at the wheel, we would see just how far left Obama is

GWB did allot of good things, and all-though I was against no child left behind and I thought we should have had a vat tax to fund the wars, he was at best center right

The question is, is this country ready to get back on track?

    I hope so

I would guess that 60% of the population just want a president who will rule by the constitution where we can all work hard and someday have a home/car, and 2.3 kids. I really miss those days.

You mean by giving all of them a tax break, getting their college-aged kids medical insurance, expanding unemployment benefits so they can stay above water, creating programs to help them refinance their mortgage and expanding programs that help feed low income children and families?

Are those the sorts of things you'd expect to see if the president had any concern?

The real tax break came from GWB long before we needed it. The GOP wanted to extend the payroll tax to the end of the yaer

Allowing kids to stay on there ins plans is just a way to expand the total amount of wealth that is in the system with people who will not draw from it

UE benefit extension is partially paid for by the insurance that is paid for the tax payer, corporations collect. I am one of the few conservatives who was for that extension. I also should note that GWB did the same early in his first term

The programs to refi has done nothing to help the value of the homes. I will state that no-one can fix that mess except a president who wholly focuses on job creation followed close by national defense. Until we get the number of people working back to mid 08 numbers and then maintain a steady growth of jobs from there, were going no where

BHO is over his head. It should also be noted him nor GWB has done anything, it is in the end the tax payer
How much support could those who have been harmed by this dead economy by the 50 billion GM got and has not paid back one penny?
(Tarp made there 1st payment, tax payer funded IPO made second)

People just want a chance 8357
Working in SE Texas from 09-11 I got for one reason, to ready the Motiva refinery ready for sand oil from Canada. Without it the 10s of thousands of jobs Obama has taken credit for would not have existed from the region

We need every well regulated opportunity out there to create jobs. GWB did just that post 9-11 post all the Enrons that had been lying long before he showed up.
    Tax policy
Fed allowing low interest rates for lending
And making sure corporations new there was no harm coming as far as tax policy and un needed regulations to harm growth
    Pipe-lines
    Nuclear power
Transforming coal power into natural gas powered turbines
    New refineries
Land base oil extraction in every state and on every piece of public land in well regulated and in partial locales
hell Alaska? lets talk about Florida and its UE problem that is a permanent problem until we get UE back to 5% and get these people who are not, working
    Georgia
    Pennsylvania
    Colorado
    Alabama
    etc....
    Find it
    drill it
    extract it
    refine it
    sell it
WE NEED JOBS, NOT UE EXTENSIONS

So, the tax cuts that Obama passed are now credited to GW Bush and the GOP? Hilarious.

Tell that to any kid under 26 who goes to the doctor. If it was just good business, why weren't insurance companies doing it?

No, none of the extension is paid out of the insurance that companies contribute to. That fund is dry. It's all tax money.

Wait what? Preventing a house from foreclosing doesn't add value to the home and the homes nearby?

    This is an...interesting...claim.

is that why his first term saw the loss of millions of jobs? Why the BLS shows that over the course of his 8 years we netted just over a million jobs and experienced the most anemic jobs growth since WW2?

I did not state that the payroll tax cut was GWB, I stated that the real tax breaks came from a bi partisan congress and GWB

For the record BHO had little to do with the housing bubble as did GWB had little to do with either
    We must find new opportunities
maintain g a 4-6% UE rate with modest job growth is one thing
We are down 5 million jobs from 08

So the 2003 tax cuts count, but a payroll tax cut doesn't?

And this is relevant because...why exactly?

LOL! You might as well go back to the 1993 tax hike and credit everything since on that tax hike.

You lost me when you said the GOP is center right... How can you do TARP, mass deficits, mass stimulus x2, growth of near all departments of Government and still claim that is anything but Progressive liberal? If I didn't mention that was all on Republicans and Bush's watch you would have thought I was talking about Obama, the far lefty...
